Google is redefining what’s possible in AI, and Google AI subscriptions are the core gateway to this new era. Here are the latest AI subscription updates announced by Google at Google I/O 2026.
Google launches “AI Ultra” subscription, AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers will also receive new features and benefits
New $100 AI Ultra Plan
Google has launched a new $100-per-month AI Ultra package, designed for developers, technical directors, knowledge workers, and advanced creators. This plan is available from now on, with the goal of shortening the development cycle and integrating the most cutting-edge intelligent capabilities into daily work. Key features include:
- Gemini app and Google Antigravity usage limits increased to 5x the Pro plan.
- Gemini 3.5 integrates with Flash to provide an extremely fast testing, debugging and iteration experience.
- Prioritize Google Antigravity so anyone can build their own AI agent.
- 20TB of cloud storage space can accommodate large data sets, code libraries and media resources.
- YouTube Premium individual plan supports background playback, ad-free viewing and YouTube Music.
At the same time, Google has also lowered the monthly fee of the top AI Ultra plan from $250 to $200, while the features remain unchanged, including Gemini and Antigravity usage that are 20 times higher than the Pro plan. Whether you choose the $100 or $200 plan, an AI Ultra subscription provides access to Google’s most advanced AI capabilities, including:
- Gemini Spark ($100 and $200 plans; US only)
Gemini Spark is a 24-hour AI assistant that can understand your digital life and perform operations on your behalf. It integrates all Google products to help handle complex tasks, allowing you to focus on what really matters. It will roll out first to trusted testers this week, with beta testing opening to AI Ultra users in the U.S. next week.
- Project Genie ($200 plan; global)
Project Genie is an experimental research prototype that allows users to create and explore virtual worlds. The feature is now available to all eligible AI Ultra $200 subscribers 18 and older, and adds the ability to generate new and unexpected virtual scenes based on the real world, powered by Street View.

- Gemini Omni (AI Plus, Pro, Ultra; Global)
Gemini Omni is a new multimodal model that generates content from any input, including video. It combines Gemini’s understanding capabilities with generative media models to bring new levels of creation, editing, and multimodal processing. In the Gemini app, Omni can help create with any combination of text, images, and videos; in Google Flow, it can blend real-life inspiration with generated content, and iterate through conversations. Character consistency has also been enhanced, ensuring that characters maintain a consistent style and voice across different scenes.
- Gemini 3.5 Flash (AI Plus, Pro, Ultra; Global)
Gemini 3.5 Flash is optimized for agent and coding tasks, and is particularly good at handling long and complex workflows, providing more practical performance.
Tools to improve efficiency
Many features in Google apps have also been upgraded simultaneously:
- Gmail AI Inbox (AI Plus, Pro, Ultra; US only)
The AI inbox, originally only available in Ultra, has now been expanded to Plus and Pro. It can organize to-do items, provide personalized drafts, mark completed items, and link related documents, forms, and presentations to help you take action faster. - Gemini App Daily Briefing (AI Plus, Pro, Ultra; US only)
Daily Briefing is an out-of-the-box smart assistant that integrates important information from Gmail, Calendar, and Gemini Chat to provide a clear and easy-to-read personalized summary to help you plan your day’s highlights and next steps.
This summer, AI Pro and Ultra users will also receive voice feature updates to Google Pics (a new image creation and editing tool) as well as Gmail, Docs, and Keep.
More reasonable usage patterns
Google will change from “daily prompts” to “calculated usage” mode. The new limit will be calculated based on prompt complexity, functions used and chat length, and will be refreshed every five hours until the weekly limit is reached. If you reach the usage limit on a large model, the system will automatically switch to a faster small model to ensure uninterrupted work. If you wish to continue using the original model, AI Pro and Ultra users can purchase additional AI Points for use in Google Antigravity, Google Flow, and the upcoming Gemini app.
Advanced benefits
AI Ultra subscriptions include YouTube Premium individual plans. In the coming days, AI Pro users in select countries will also receive free YouTube Premium Lite (valued at $8.99/month), which can play most YouTube and YouTube Kids content ad-free, offline and in the background. In addition, both AI Pro and Ultra include Health Premium and Home Premium.
Several updates to Google AI Subscriptions are rolling out starting today and will be generally available in the coming days and weeks.
