Recently, the annual Mother’s Day is approaching, and LINE’s Mother’s Day chat room special effects have also been launched. From now (8) to 10:00 on May 13, 20024, enter any of the three chat room special effect keywords “Mom”, “Mother” or “Mommy” in the LINE chat room to awaken this Mother’s Day chat room special effect.
If your mobile phone’s LINE version is 12.0.0 (inclusive) or above, when you enter a keyword and a chat room effect appears, the keyword will be displayed in the form of a link. If you want to replay the chat room effects later, just click on the keyword link! You don’t have to reprint your friend’s messages all the time, you can also watch Xiong Da handing you a carnation over and over again.

How to turn on/off chat room effects?
Chat room effects are all turned on by default, but if you enter the correct keywords during the event but do not see the chat room background effects, you can first try to completely close the LINE APP and then reopen it, or go to “Settings” > “Chat” and confirm whether the chat room background effects are turned on. Of course, if you don’t want to see the chat room background effects, you can also manually turn off the “chat room background effects” yourself.

Why can’t I see the homepage effects?
If you don’t see this limited-time animated special effect on your LINE homepage on Mother’s Day, it may be because of the following reasons:
- The special effects display period happens to be a birthday, and the birthday special effects will be displayed on the homepage first.
- Please confirm in LINE settings that “Playback Effects” is turned on or turn it back on
- If your phone is set to reduce the display of special effects, please find and turn off the following functions in the system settings:
- iOS users: reduce dynamic effects
- Android users: Remove animation

If you have newly installed LINE APP recently, the special effects may not be displayed properly on the day of the event because LINE APP cannot download the special effects materials immediately.
