Before chatbots know how to chat with you while driving (eh… this probably won’t happen), Google wants to use AI with stronger language understanding capabilities to assist driving with “all kinds of short and long stories.” During this year’s MWC show, Google announced that their latest Android Auto car system update will include the latest features that can help process information through AI.

One of the features is to actively detect messages related to “ETA estimated arrival time” and automatically compile automatic message replies combined with itinerary information – you can choose to “share ETA arrival time, or simply call back (using voice may be the safest and most direct?).

In addition, in response to the bombardment of messages, Android Auto will also be able to use AI to summarize messages for broadcast in the future. This avoids the embarrassing situation where users are worried about missing important information but cannot view lengthy messages because they are stuck in traffic or driving.

Google Maps, which is also closely related to “travel”, this time brings more commuting-friendly features to WearOS. Among the original route options, a new function is added to provide quick suggestions for bus, train and other public transportation routes. As long as you simply search for a location through the watch’s microphone or keyboard, the interface on the WearOS smart watch will provide transportation suggestions including driving, public transportation, walking, etc. – as well as estimated time and other information. After clicking, you can quickly navigate with the map.

WearOS also started to provide quick functions for boarding passes, event tickets, gym memberships, membership cards, etc. after supporting Google Wallet. To put it simply, this update really allows users to take out their phones less frequently and makes commuting easier, more efficient and less burdensome. I really look forward to all these features coming to us soon!

At this MWC, Google should not surprisingly bring more interesting system update details. Not surprisingly, other mobile phone brands will also bring a variety of new mobile device products. You can continue to follow the reports of our computer king Ada to obtain these new information!
