The editor who is already a fan of Arc is very curious as to why The Browser Company, which is so active in creating a new generation browser experience, does not provide relevant settings to compete for the status of “default browser” through the Arc app on iOS. Now it seems that the latest Arc Search app, which has been announced to be promoted to become The Browser Company’s main application on mobile systems in the future, is the answer to this question. The AI-powered Arc Search mobile browser is here! Not only does it help you search, but it can also instantly switch to AI to organize web pages for you to see.

The Windows desktop version test has been quietly launched, with built-in Arc browser full of “Max” AI functions. In fact, there have always been mobile apps for iOS – but they still tend to be used mainly for synchronizing tabs on desktop browsers.

In fact, the editor who is already a fan of Arc has always been curious about why The Browser Company, which is so active in creating a new generation browser experience, has not provided relevant settings to compete for the status of “default browser” through the Arc app on iOS.

Now it seems that the latest Arc Search app, which has been announced to be promoted to become The Browser Company’s main application on mobile systems in the future, is the answer to this question.

Yes, regardless of what this app can do. Just from the fact that it can be set as the default browser for iOS, you can probably guess that Arc Search will put all the capabilities of Arc into this mobile application.

The “Browse for me” AI search function provided at the beginning of its launch fully lives up to many people’s expectations for Arc.

In fact, the current feeling of using Arc Search is somewhat similar to the Google Search app mobile application, which provides a web browsing experience from the search “start”. But during the search process, you will see a “Browse for me” rectangular button appearing after the string. As long as you press it, it will instantly upgrade from a normal search experience to a page-organizing function where AI helps generate questions. It also provides thoughtful features such as ad blocking and anti-tracking.

This experience isEvaluation by foreign media The VergeI think it’s quite outstanding. When it comes to the experience of using chatbots compared to others, the information experience of the pages and columns organized by Arc Search really provides a quite different way of use.

The author also simply downloaded the Arc Search app to experience it. I found that even if it contains Chinese keywords (such as: Is Gogoro Pulse worth buying?), this AI-organized webpage dedicated to you will get stuck; if it is all in English, it will work normally.

The actual compiled page, to be honest, I think it is quite neatly organized and logical, and even the latest information is not difficult to find. Personally, I am very curious as to when the search function of “Browse for me” will be integrated into the desktop version (it feels like it will be soon).

However, in addition to the issue of Chinese support, the editor who has set Arc Search as the default browser for iOS has also discovered that the application transition may freeze when you scan the QR Code. This is something that needs attention – probably still needs to be fixed by the system or The Browser Company.

It is said that Arc Search has planned to be renamed to the same name as Arc currently launched by the company on the App Store in the future – guessing that the previous App should be renamed Arc Anywhere simultaneously, right?

Specifically, I am looking forward to Arc Search fully supporting Chinese as soon as possible, and I would be more inclined to use it to find information. It is also recommended here for everyone to try.
