According to official information, Apple Classical’s “team of musicologists spent more than seven years processing the underlying interpretive data to provide 50 million data points, resulting in fully optimized search and browsing capabilities…offering thousands of recommendations carefully selected based on relevant works and composers, and more than 700 curated playlists from the world’s leading classical music experts, artists and opinion leaders.”
Apple Music Classics has a library of more than 120,000 works, 400,000 movements and more than 20,000 composers. Not only does it have high-quality options up to 192 kHz/24-bit Hi-Res Lossless, but more than thousands of tracks provide support for Dolby Atmos immersive spatial audio; new releases will continue to be added, and exclusive content will be brought in collaboration with representative organizations such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the Salzburg Festival, as well as the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Metropolitan Opera.
