After the image quality enhancement is complete, there are 2K and 4K quality options below to view, and the slider bar in the middle lets you compare Before and After:
I directly zoomed into that area and put the original, 2K, and 4K versions side by side for everyone to see. I think the 2K quality is already pretty good—the 4K files are just a bit large. Of course, since it’s AI upscaling, a slight smeared look is unavoidable, but I think the quality is totally usable. After upscaling, feeding it to VEO3 to generate video works without any issues.
Currently, IMGUpscaler has no usage restrictions, and you can upload even from a phone. In addition to photo upscaling, it also offers services like video upscaling, old photo restoration, and blurry photo repair. The official claims that uploaded images are not retained or used for other purposes. However, if you’re concerned, it’s better not to upload images with privacy issues.
