It can be said that there are a lot of phishing websites and scam websites on the Internet today, especially Facebook. Many one-page advertisements are scams. Although something is sent to you after buying it, it is not the one you originally bought. Elders are often deceived in this way. There is a free website security check service called SCAMADVISER on the Internet. As long as you paste the URL, it will help you determine how safe the website is and whether it is trustworthy. Use this tool to check before buying anything online in the future, which can greatly reduce the chance of being scammed.

  • Click here to go to SCAMADVISER website security inspection service

SCAMADVISER is a foreign service and is available in Simplified Chinese, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to understand it. After entering the homepage, you can paste the URL of the website you want to check in the “Search Website” field. Regarding fraudulent websites, in addition to online shopping, investment and cryptocurrency are also very common, as well as prepaid fees, recruitment, subscriptions, love, etc. In short, any website can be checked with this service, as long as you have security concerns. The only thing to note is that this service cannot check whether the website has viruses. It is not a virus scanning service:

The real-time fraud information database will be announced at the bottom of the homepage, such as how many websites are included, how many fraud websites, fraud cases reported today, etc.:

The partners of this website are some well-known companies, such as Trend Micro and Group-IB:

First I checked our website and got a high reputation score, which shows green which means it is safe for them to check:

No problem with PChome24H, it also has a high reputation score:

Next, I started testing Facebook’s one-page ads. This one was about investment and financial management. Sure enough, the credibility score became lower, saying “This website is very suspicious, check the following data.” Basically, as long as you see this score, avoid it if you can, and don’t use or buy anything from this website. However, orange is not the lowest:

I tested another Facebook one-page ad for investment and financial management. The reputation score was 2 points, and it was also displayed in red, and marked “Reported as unsafe by Trend Micro.” This shows that if there are websites reported as unsafe by partners, they should be displayed in red and not reported, but if it detects doubts, they will be displayed in orange:

However, the results given by this website are not 100% correct, because when I tested a Facebook one-page ad selling healthy food, the reputation score was as high as 82, and it was also displayed in green. Although it may be that there is really no problem with this website, I tried to enter the event.somatch.com.tw URL, but the screen of opening the website folder was displayed. The representative said that there was a problem and it should not be given such a high score:

The scoring mechanism is explained below:

And related information about this website, including SSL, server, registrar, etc.:

If you are sure there is a problem with this website, you can also report it to them:

Therefore, if there is a website that displays orange or red, 99% of the time there must be something wrong. It is recommended to skip it. If the website displays green, it can only be used as a reference. Don’t believe it 100%.
