Earlier, many media and YouTubers released actual measurements of the new RTX 40 series notebook GPUs, but most of them were for a single GPU. The China Golden Pig upgrade package has a complete performance comparison of RTX 4070, RTX 4060, and RTX 4050.
Before we start looking at performance, let’s take a quick look at the specifications of this RTX 40 series.
Both NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 are equipped with 8 GB GDDR6 display memory, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 is equipped with 4608 CUDA cores and overclocked clocks of up to 2175 MHz. The RTX 4060, on the other hand, comes with 3072 CUDA cores and overclocking speeds of up to 2370 MHz.
The entry-level GeForce RTX 4050 comes with 6 GB of memory and 2560 CUDA cores, with overclocking clocks of up to 2370MHz.
Although RTX 4070 is a new generation of GPU, compared with RTX 3070 Ti, the number of CUDA cores is much reduced:

Although RTX 4060 is about 16% faster than RTX 3060, this improvement is actually not very good:
The RTX 4050 is very good, at least 37.39% higher than the RTX 3050 Ti. After turning on light tracing, the performance increases by 402%:
Next comes the game. Since the RTX 4070 is slower than the RTX 3070 Ti in the 3DMark test, the Golden Pig upgrade package directly uses the RTX 3070 Ti as the standard. In the case of 1080P image quality and ray tracing turned on, the RTX 4070 can be regarded as 10% better, 3.95% higher than the RTX 3070 Ti:

He believes that this generation-to-generation improvement is completely unqualified, and there is no such a big performance gap between 70 cards and 80 cards in history:
