The GPU price tracking report at the end of last month showed that the RTX 30 series was rising, and it had been so for two consecutive months. Therefore, it was basically confirmed that GPU prices had stabilized, and there must not be much inventory left in the RTX 30 series. At that time, friends who wanted to buy graphics cards were urged to buy them. Sure enough, just one month later, the new RTX 30 series high-end graphics cards were out of stock, and the mid- and low-end parts also increased slightly. Even the new AMD Radeon RX 6000 The series has also increased, which shows that there is really no need to wait any longer.

GPU price tracking update, almost all prices have increased slightly, and the high-end RTX 30 series is out of stock
Earlier, foreign media TECHSPOT officially announced the latest GPU price tracking report. In addition to the new and second-hand prices of the RTX 30 series and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series, the text also included observations on the new RTX 40 series and RX 7000 series cards.
As previously reported, the RTX 4090 is still out of stock. If you want to buy it in Australia, you need to spend more than the recommended selling price. However, it should improve by early next year, and there will be sufficient inventory. The RTX 4080 is still very miserable. It can be bought everywhere and is never out of stock. The price of this one is too high.
The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX launched this month can be said to be very popular. Most channels were sold out in the first hour of sale, and it is now difficult to find stores that have the product in stock. Although the RX 7900 XT is not said to be selling well, it is not as bad as the RTX 4080. However, the price is only 10% cheaper than the RX 7900 XTX, and the performance in 4K games is 17% slower. Therefore, it is no wonder that it does not sell well. It is not as attractive as the RX 7900 XTX.
Let’s move on to the focus of GPU price tracking. The picture below shows the new NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. You can see that some high-end RTX 30 series have been out of stock since November. After December, models above RTX 3080 are out of stock, so there is no way to know the price. It is similar in Taiwan. I checked PChome and they are all out of stock:

Although the RTX 40 series of mid- and low-end graphics cards will not be released until next year, the RTX 30 series of mid-to-low-end graphics cards have quietly begun to rise, with an average increase of 3% every other month, and most of them are a little higher than the recommended selling price. The RTX 3070 is the highest, 17% higher.
The AMD Radeon 6000 series is similar. Almost all of them have increased, with an average increase of 5%. However, I think the small increase is mainly due to too much decline before. For example, even though the RX 6900 XT increased slightly by 7% compared with last month, it is still 30% cheaper than the recommended selling price, which is still very high in terms of CP value. Only the RX 6800XT is a little more expensive than the recommended selling price:

The second-hand market is no exception. The mid-to-high-end RTX 30 series is out of stock. This is actually quite surprising. It may be because new cards cannot be bought, so everyone is turning to second-hand. The mid- to low-end second-hand RTX 30 series also saw a slight increase, with an average increase of 3%:

Second-hand RX 6000 series prices have risen and fallen, with prices increasing by an average of 1%:

So overall, for players who are considering buying a previous-generation graphics card, they really need to be quick, as inventory is indeed getting smaller and smaller.
