Therefore, we have decided that starting today, we will make Gemini 2.5 Pro (experimental) available to all Gemini users.”

And when I actually went to the Gemini website, I did indeed see Gemini 2.5 Pro (experimental) in the model menu, which I could select and use:
However, at this stage, the Gemini 2.5 Pro model is only available on the official Gemini website. The Android and iOS mobile apps are being rolled out gradually over the next few days—I just checked and it’s not there yet, but it shouldn’t take too long:
Gemini 2.5 Pro (experimental) is currently still holding the top spot on the LMArena leaderboard, which means it performs quite well in human preference tests. Google is also further strengthening this model’s coding capabilities, so it has even greater potential for software development applications in the future. However, the new version of GPT-4o released last week has already narrowed the gap with Gemini 2.5 Pro, so it’s unclear how much longer it can hold onto first place.
Gemini 2.5 Pro (experimental) now supports the following features, including App/extension integration (Extensions), file upload processing, and the Canvas collaborative canvas.
Google’s latest features and models have been made available to free users very quickly, such as the previous Deep ResearchIn fact, they even added a usage limit, giving free users 10 uses per month as well, the same as the paid ChatGPT Plus version.
Previously, OpenAI also said that after GPT-5 is released, it will be made available to free users as well.
