The previous generation RTX 3080 is only about 10% slower than RTX 3090. It can be seen that for top gamers, RTX 4090 will be a better choice:
However, compared with the RTX 3090 Ti, the RTX 4080 is faster. It is about 15% faster in CUDA, about 9% faster in OpenCL, and about 5.5% faster in Vulkan. If these two cards are compared, the first choice must be the RTX 4080.
