Previously, we recommended many tools that can generate images “for free,” but these tools either have limits on the number of images you can generate, or eventually the system gets busy and you have to wait a long time to create images. The image generation tool introduced today, “Raphael AI,” claims to be 100% free, requires no login, and allows unlimited image generation. It calls itself the world’s first free, unrestricted AI image generator. Raphael AI is currently powered by the Flux.1 Dev image generation model, and the quality of the photos it produces is quite impressive.

Raphael AI has a simple interface—just enter a prompt in the box to generate an image. Below the interface, options are provided for image shape, style, color, lighting, and composition, so you can select the type you want to create.
Although Raphael AI can accept Chinese prompts, after our testing, Raphael AI’s understanding of Chinese prompts is still not as good as English prompts, so we still recommend using English prompts to generate images.
After testing, Raphael AI has a fairly good understanding of celebrities, movie characters, and anime characters, and at least there are no issues with being unable to generate them.
Raphael AI can even generate images of Mickey Mouse and Hello Kitty kissing, which shows it probably isn’t afraid of Disney and Sanrio’s legal departments.
In addition, there are no restrictions on explicit prompts either; entering a prompt like “a girl naked at the beach” can still generate an image. Although it’s not fully nude, it’s still better than other image generation tools that restrict prompts.
When I tested Raphael AI, I found that its generation of human hands and certain details was still barely satisfactory. However, Raphael AI is completely free and has no limit on the number of generations, so you can use the same prompt to keep generating images, and eventually one will meet your needs. But note that each batch of images from Raphael AI is only retained for 10 minutes; after that, the images are deleted. If you generate an image you’re fairly satisfied with, it’s recommended to save it first, so you don’t end up remembering it only after it’s already gone.
