The i9-13900K seems to have not been kept secret this time. Some performance benchmarks have appeared on the Internet a few days ago. An actual test video of the i9-13900K has appeared in China earlier. Although it is the i9-13900K QS version, it is almost the same as the commercial version, so it is not surprising that the performance should be like this. The multi-core part has been significantly improved, and it is compared with the currently strongest i9-12900KF. Compared to the previous version, the improvement reached 35%, which is very impressive.

Earlier, China’s Bilibili channel “EP Extreme Player Hall” uploaded a video “First exposed on the entire network! Intel 13th generation Core i9-13900K performance test”. They had actually gotten the i9-13900K ES version (Q0D7) before, but the clock speed was only 4GHz and it was very difficult to overclock. At most, 1.225V can run stably at 4.5GHz and 1.45V. 4.6GHz is basically dead. Originally they planned to downclock the i9-12900KF to 4.5GHz, but recently they received the QS version. This problem has been solved and can be compared directly.
As can be seen from the CPU-Z screenshots, the i9-13900K is determined to have 8 P-Core + 16 E-Core, which is 8 more E-Core than the current i9-12900K. The number of cores has reached 24, and the number of execution threads has also increased to 32, just like previous rumors:
The base clock is 3GHz, which is 200MHz less than the 12th generation. The overclocking clock performance can reach up to 5.5GHz for all cores and up to 5.8GHz for dual cores. The specifications alone are 7% and 11% higher than the i9-12900K:
It is worth noting that the full load operating voltage of the i9-13900K has also increased to 1.3xV~1.4xV. The L3 cache is 36MB and the L2 cache is 32MB, for a total of 68MB. There is also a basic 125W TDP (PL1) and an MTP of about 250W:
The test platform used is Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme, equipped with T-Force Delta 32 GB (16 GB x 2) DDR5-6400 memory, 360mm AIO radiator and 1500W Coolermaster Silence II 1500W power supply. The graphics card is GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB.
