After iPhoine iOS 11, the HEIC format is preset as the default image storage format. So what is the new format of the HEIC format? The main purpose is to use less capacity to store better quality photos. Of course, you don’t have to worry if you use a Mac system, but if you use a Windows system, this HEIC format is not supported. High Efficiency Image File Format (High Efficiency Image File Format) is a new format developed by the MPEG Dynamic Image Expert Group. Its main purpose is to use less capacity to store better quality photos, but Windows does not agree with it. For example, I mainly use Winodws, but my mobile phone is an iPhone. Scroll down to Step 1. When you see the “GIVEWAY PAGE” link, click it to enter.
Enter the name and email account and click [Register].
Go to the mailbox you just entered to receive the email. After opening it, you will see the free one-year activation serial number you obtained. Please note it down.
Go back to the event page and scroll down to Setp 2. Click on the link to download the program.
After downloading, start the installation. In the Windows 8/10/11 environment, a window for using this account will appear during execution. This is because a security warning window of “User Account Control” will appear due to security issues. Mainly when the user performs some actions that will affect the system, a confirmation screen will often appear, so press [Yes] to continue (if you want to remove this warning, please refer to “Talking about User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 8/10″article)
There is no Chinese installation interface, but just click with the mouse, so don’t worry.
When you see the installation wizard, basically press [Next] to continue and complete the installation.
Enter the one-year free activation serial number that you wrote down before and press [Register] to start.
The free version can only convert 10 files. After startup, you can batch convert unlimited times. The picture below is the main screen of Aiseesoft HEIC Converter. You can drag HEIC files or click [Add Heic] to load. You can select multiple files when loading, or you can select the entire directory.
For example, after the author selects a folder, the HEIC image files in the folder can be seen in the list on the screen. In the green box on the right, you can select the output format (default JPG), adjust the quality, whether to retain Exif information and specify the output folder. Adjust the desired settings and check the HEIC image file list in the blue box. Press [CONVERT] to batch convert.
The conversion speed is quite good. There will be a message window for the conversion results. If you want to see the conversion results, click [Open folder] to open it.
Directly open the General Case Manager and specify the folder location to the output folder. All image files will be output as specified JPGs.
